Setting a Shell Is the Easy Part.

Nobody else will tile it
Setting tile on an angled fiberglass wall is enough extra work that most builders skip it. We don't, and it's the one detail that makes a Bixby fiberglass build look custom instead of off-the-shelf.
Gravel drains, clay doesn't
Bixby's river-bottom clay swells and shrinks with the season and holds water right against whatever's buried in it. Gravel doesn't do that, so that's what the shell sits on.
Fill and backfill move together
We backfill in the same layers as the pool fills with water, so neither side of the wall ever takes more pressure than the other.
We plan for groundwater
Bixby sits close to the Arkansas River, and low-lying lots can hold shallow groundwater after a wet spring. A relief valve goes in where the lot calls for one.

You're picking from a mold, not a drawing

Excavation and base
We mark the pool with you standing there, then excavate. The gravel base gets compacted and leveled before the shell ever touches the ground.
Shell set and plumb
The shell is set, leveled in every direction, then plumbed and bonded. From there, water and backfill go in side by side.
Tile, coping, deck, rock
Waterline tile goes down first, then coping, then the deck, then any hand-stacked rock. Skip that order and the tile line comes out uneven.
Startup and pool school
Water gets balanced, the inspector signs off, and the pump gets programmed. We don't leave until you know how to run it yourself.
Safety and handoff
The state minimum is a self-closing, self-latching barrier. We build past it, and walk you through the federal guidelines at handoff.

The Shell Is the Easy Part. The Install Is Everything.
Setting a shell in a hole isn't hard — any crew can do that part. What decides whether it still looks right in fifteen years is everything you can't see afterward: the gravel base, how the backfill went in, where rainwater drains once the yard's regraded. That's where a build actually succeeds or fails.
Get the tile, even though it costs more. Most builders around here will tell you fiberglass can't be tiled, and what they really mean is they've never learned how. Stand a tiled fiberglass pool next to a gunite one and you won't be able to pick out which is which.
One more thing. If you're anywhere near the river in Bixby, tell me before I come out. I'll plan for the water table from day one instead of finding out about it with a shovel. That's not an upsell. That's doing it right the first time.
