How Silverado Rock prices every buildOn a lot that falls away from the house, the uphill side of the pool sets into the grade and the downhill side stands above it, faced in handcrafted rock. What a fully inground build would treat as an excavation problem becomes the most interesting part of the yard.
Fully inground on a falling lot means moving dirt and building retaining structures before the pool exists. The rock surround does that work and finishes the pool at the same time.
Partial excavation moves a fraction of the material. On south Tulsa lots with clay and caliche, that is where the savings actually live.
The elevation difference gives the three-foot waterfall wall a natural home. On a flat lot that height has to be engineered. On a slope it is already there.
Water already moves across a sloped lot. Jason reads the runoff at the site visit and places the pool and decking so the yard sheds water away from the house.
If the budget is $10,000, buy an above-ground pool and enjoy it. If the yard is flat and the goal is a custom shape with a spa and a tanning ledge, build fully inground. Semi-inground wins in a specific situation, and here is exactly what that situation looks like.

Both are 14x28, both are vinyl liner, and both include the rock surround, waterfall wall, snack bar, decking, and the 25-year warranty. The only real decision is whether your yard wants a straight edge or a curved one.
Both are available fully inground. If your yard is flat and you would rather the pool disappear into the grade, the same package drops the rock surround and includes 500 sq ft of concrete decking instead, more than double the standard. On a lot that falls away from the house, the uphill side of the pool sets into the grade while the downhill side stands exposed and gets wrapped in rock. The slope does work that regrading would otherwise have to pay for, which is why semi-inground often makes more sense than fully inground on south Tulsa lots.
