What is not in the price, and what it usually costs
Some builders hide these costs in a padded allowance, but we leave them out, set them up for you, and never mark them up.
- ElectricalYou pay your electrician directly, and we meet them at your home to explain what the pool needs. Most Tulsa metro yards run between $1,800 and $3,000.
- Dirt removalWhen excavated soil has to leave your property, hauling usually runs $750 to $2,500.
- Crane serviceAbout a third of shells are set with the excavator already on site, at no charge. Most use a truck crane for about $500 to $1,500.
- Lift over the houseA few yards can only take a shell over the roof. That big crane can cost several thousand dollars, and we tell you at the yard check.
- Permit feeThe city sets the fee, and we prepare the site plan and file the paperwork.
- Buried rockLoose rock often comes out with rock teeth on our excavator, for a small charge. Solid rock means rental equipment at cost, plus a daily labor charge.

Four Things That Shape an Owasso Pool Build

Owasso began in 1881 as the Elm Creek settlement, named for a branch of Bird Creek. Its name is often translated as “the end” or “the turn around,” because the old rail line ended there.
Rock can sit just under the grass
On one Owasso job, Jason could not drive a 2 foot concrete stake into the ground. Rock sat about 2 inches down, under a lawn that looked perfect. That is why we explain the rock process before you sign.

Inside city limits, Owasso Community Development issues swimming pool permits from City Hall on Main Street. We draw the site plan and file the paperwork for you. Before anyone digs, OKIE811 marks every buried utility line on your property.
How close to my property line can a pool go in Owasso?
The pool must sit in the rear yard, at least 5 feet from side and rear lot lines. No part of the pool wall can sit in an easement, and pool pumps and filters cannot go in one either. A deck poured at ground level does not have to meet the setback.

On top of that, Silverado Rock adds its own 5-year workmanship warranty.
Why do you set fiberglass pools on stone instead of sand?
Sand holds water and can shift or wash out over time, which can leave a void beside the shell and a sinking deck. We set every shell on at least 4 inches of compacted 3/8 inch chip stone. Then we backfill with the same stone, which drains well and holds its shape.
Can my price change after I sign?
Your quoted price is fixed, and the one exception is buried rock, because nobody can see it from the surface. If the dig hits rock our equipment cannot break, we stop, show you, and price it before work continues.
