Fiji Plunge Size, Depth, and Layout

The Fiji is built for one job: a cool place to sit and unwind. The wide bench seats two with room for drinks on the edge. The flat floor has no sudden drop, and molded steps make it easy to get in and out.

Remember that the shell is only part of the space you need. Most families want decking around the pool, a fence that meets city code, and a clear path for delivery into the backyard.

Leisure lists every size as approximate and measures at the widest outside edges, so the water area is a little smaller. We confirm the exact fit at your yard check.

What the $45,000 Starting Price Covers

The Fiji receives the same foundation as a 40-foot pool: at least 4 inches of 3/8 chip stone, never sand. Our chip stone backfill guide explains why, and our fiberglass pool cost guide explains what moves the final number.

Is the Fiji Plunge Right for Your Yard?

The Fiji does a few things very well, so here is how to decide whether it suits your family or another model fits better.

The Fiji fits you if

Your yard is tight

It is the shortest Leisure model available and holds the least water.

You want to cool off and relax

It is designed for soaking, relaxing, and gentle movement on hot afternoons.

You want less upkeep

There is less water to treat, and the smooth gel coat makes it hard for algae to take hold.

You want to swim sooner

Most fiberglass installations take 4 to 6 weeks, including shell delivery.

Look at another pool if

You want to swim laps

The Esprit gives you an open swim channel about 18 ft 8 in long with a flat floor.

Your kids want room to play

The Palladium Plunge 20 holds over three times the water and starts at the same price.

You want a hot soak all winter

We suggest a separate Leisure spa, which stays open after the pool closes and starts at about $22,000 installed, pad included.

Budget comes first

Our OK Plunge is a semi-inground vinyl liner pool that starts at $19,999 for the pool only.

The overall knowledge and experience Jason has of pools far exceeds anyone else I have talked to in the pool business. He came out and went through the whole process with me. The crews paid a lot of attention to all small details. I'm extremely happy with my pool as well as my design and overall layout.

Fiji Plunge Questions, Answered

How much does a Fiji Plunge pool cost in Tulsa?
Our Fiji Plunge starts at $45,000 installed, which covers the shell, installation, 3 ft of concrete decking, plumbing, electrical, waterline tile, Jandy equipment, and startup. Permits, dirt hauling, a crane for tight access, and a panel upgrade cost extra when a yard needs them.
How big is the Fiji Plunge?
It is about 9 ft 6 in long and 7 ft wide, with a shell footprint of about 66.5 square feet. Plan additional space for decking and fencing, and we measure your yard during the free yard check to confirm the fit.
How deep is the Fiji Plunge?
It has a flat floor about 4 ft 5 in deep from end to end. Because there is no deep end, it is not designed for diving.
Can you swim laps in a Fiji Plunge?
No, because at about 9 ft 6 in long, it is made for cooling off and sitting. For laps, consider the Esprit, a flat-floor pool about 18 ft 8 in long with an open swim channel.
Can I heat a Fiji Plunge?
Yes, a Jandy VersaTemp heat and chill unit is an available add-on at about $6,000 installed. It can warm the water during spring and fall and cool it on the hottest summer afternoons. In winter, we recommend a full closing, which starts at $350.
What is the difference between the Fiji Plunge and the Palladium Plunge?
The Fiji is about 9 ft 6 in by 7 ft and holds about 1,199 gallons. The Palladium comes in 16 and 20 ft lengths, is about 8 ft wide, and holds 2,742 to 3,889 gallons. Both have flat floors and the same $45,000 starting price.
Does a plunge pool need a fence?
Yes, a plunge pool needs a safety barrier like any other pool. The federal barrier checklist calls for a fence at least 4 feet tall, and we confirm your city's final code requirements before construction begins.
